Physical queues in public institutions, such as post offices in Poland, remain a significant source of inefficiency and customer frustration due to a lack of transparency and remote access.
The objective was to develop a minimum viable product (MVP) for a remote queue management system that would allow customers to join queues virtually and monitor their status in real-time.
Conducted on-site field research across multiple Warsaw locations to map user journeys. I built a full-stack MVP using Next.js for a responsive frontend and Supabase for real-time data persistence, including an admin dashboard for facility managers to oversee queue dynamics.
Successfully demonstrated a functional prototype that modernized the queue experience. The project gained enough traction to facilitate a strategic discussion with a director at Poczta Polska regarding large-scale digital transformation.
